First off I must say I love tyler's recipies. I have tried several and have had rave review's. However the lasagna recipie calls for 2lbs.of lasagna noodle.s. how is that possible when the set up calls for 4 noodles length ways, and 1 noodle at each end x 3 is only 18 noodles total, it hardly consituits 2 lbs. and is the meat amounts right.

Hey Maria,
This is the sauce in Tyler's recipe:

Coat a large skillet with olive oil, add beef and sausage and brown until no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. In a food processor, combine the onion, carrots, celery, garlic, basil, parsley, an oregano. Process until pureed, add to the pan with the ground meat and stir to combine. Stir in the flour. Add the wine and cook until it has reduced by half. Stir in the tomatoes and add the heavy cream and the cinnamon.

It is a meat sauce.

Thanks

Under Tyler Florence's recipe for lasagna on the assembly part of the recipe he says to overlap layer on sauce. What sauce? Also he says to top with a ladle of sauce. Again what sauce. The tomatoes are mixed in with the meat so this is the meat mixture. There is no sauce by itself. There is only meat and cheese mixtures.
